“ Remember when Sunday night meant Chinese food?? Not some fancy place with valet parking and locations in London and Doha. Rather small family owned and simple Chinese American cuisine. Fortune cookies and tea instead of cosmopolitans and lychee sorbet infused whatever. Well this unassuming Chinese restaurant on 8th Street delivers that throwback experience- it ain’t pretty but the food is fantastic, inexpensive and Jian the owner delivers service with a smile. I had steamed bok choy, broccoli and tofu. All cooked to perfection- with hot green tea and rice. loved it. I won’t say what Dina had but she said it was very delicious. Give this place a try and tell them Spencer sent you. ”
“ This is one of the best Chinese restaurants near FIU. This restaurant offers traditional Chinese dishes. Most of the dishes are extremely tasty and enjoyable. We normally had spicy chicken, spicy fish and cumin lamb. We went there regularly for lunch. Prices of dishes are very resonable. ”
“ If you're a fan of authentic Szechuan cuisine, Long Gong Chinese is a must-visit. Our recent dining experience there was nothing short of spectacular. The dishes were a symphony of flavors and spices, hitting the perfect level of heat we requested. We started with the flaming hot braised duck, which was a fiery delight, packed with intense flavor that lingered pleasantly. The spicy pickled cabbage fish was another standout, its tangy, spicy broth balancing beautifully with the tender fish. The mapo tofu was everything you'd hope for—silky tofu swimming in a spicy, savory sauce that left us craving more. The string beans with diced pork added a nice contrast, offering a smoky, slightly crisp texture with a hint of sweetness. What made the experience even better was the wonderful service. The staff was attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The food, service, and atmosphere made this visit truly memorable. It was absolutely worth the travel, and we left happy, already planning our next visit. Long Gong Chinese is definitely a gem for anyone looking to indulge in genuine Szechuan flavors. ”

“ DELICIOUS! Quaint little authentic restaurant that you may miss driving by but worth the visit. Service was excellent, food looked and tasted fresh and delicious. Great pricing, even on the weekend, since you can get a dinner deal with an entree, soup and an egg role at an affordable price. We ordered the Longgong Special lo mein and the beef and broccoli and it was great. They have two menus, one more traditional cuisine and another more standard dishes. Highly Recommended! ”
